bullet mark06/08 - Samba!
I've been playing top surdo in Barulho, a Brighton based samba band whose new website is on the verge of launching. It features videos, recordings and news of upcoming gigs so check it out, cos we rock. Barulho website

bullet mark02/08 - New Tune - Where Are You Going?
Layered, rolling, deep house made mainly from samples taken at outdoor events, particularly Brightons Burning of the Clocks in 2006. All in a nights work, this one took me a mere 3 hours from concept to completion! Download it here.

bullet mark01/08 - Happpy New Year!
So, I didn't win the Zed Bias competition. Ah well. I am currently working on 2 tunes which should be finished sometime soonish. One is a Kompact-style deep housey groove, the other is a more techno-tinged house thumper. They are both in pursuit of my new aim - to rock the dancefloor. Oh yes. Watch this space.

bullet mark10/07 - New Tune - Zed Bias, Boomerang - The Reverse Engineer's Broken Dub
As mentioned below, I've entered a remix competition. You can hear my effort here. Results at the end of October so fingers crossed!

bullet mark09/07 - Competition time
I'm entering a competition to remix a Zed Bias tune called Boomerang (see here - scroll down for competition info). My effort is a broken beat / dubby affair and I'll upload it here as soon as it's finished. Should I win (cyber-fingers crossed please, everyone!) the remix will be featured on the 12" release of Boomerang... watch this space!

bullet mark08/07 - New toy!
The latest addition to my wee studio is, in my opinion, the coolest yet. It's a robot hand! (technical name: 'P5 Glove') It's meant for gamers but with some tinkering and downloading you can change it into a very versatile MIDI controller. Hand and finger movements can all effect various musical parameters. I'm still sussing it out at the moment but I'm hoping to have some results soon. The main reason for it's aquisition, though, is so that my eventual live set is a bit more interesting than a bloke behind a laptop (even if it is a bit Jean Michelle Jarre / Bill Bailey!) Click here to check the glove out.

bullet mark07/07 - The Reverse Engineer logo
To go with my shiny new name is a shiny new logo. It's turned into a bit of a work in progress as I can't quite settle on something I'm happy with, but here it is as it stands. (There'll soon be a shiny new website too, by the way!)
